Our team has grown to a small group of Veteran's and supporters all with the goal of saving Afghan lives by providing food, clothing and medical support.
We are working directly with fellow Veteran organization Flanders Fields in our effort to help at risk Afghans evacuate safely.
In conjunction with the Afghan Evac coalition, Operation 620, Nooristan Foundation, and other Veteran Organizations our volunteers are working to support those our Government made promises too.
Our founder, Michael "Mike" Crandall, is a retired veteran who last served in Afghanistan in 2008. During this deployment he had the honor of working with an interpreter named Wahid whose family "adopted" him. For those who are unaware the Afghan interpreters who served with us risked their lives on a daily basis in their support of the U.S. / NATO military. Veterans see those who served with us as "brothers in arms" and not "refugees".
Our initial mission was to raise funds to help evacuate Wahid's family. This mission has grown beyond this one family to a group of over 40 families looking to be evacuation.
All of the families have direct connections to serving with U.S. Military personnel. Most have submitted the paperwork for their Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) and are now awaiting U.S. State Departement approval and evacuation process.
We seek the funding to support these at risk Afghans while we work with the State Department to expedite VISAs and other documentation requirements to evacuate these families in hiding.
Please give what you can. If 5 people each give $25 we feed/supply a entire family for a month. These individuals risked their lives supporting America. We need to keep our promise to keep them safe.
